The Philadelphia Museum of Art's craft collection is represented by 34 American handmade objects in "Precious Possessions: The American Craft Collection."
Thirty-four outstanding objects from the Philadelphia Museum of Art's famous contemporary craft collection are newly installed in Precious Possessions: The American Craft Collection (November 3, 2007-June 29, 2008). These handmade treasures include "old favorites" that have not been on view in many years as well as some making their public debuts. Remarkable works of ceramic and glass will be joined by examples of fiber art in March 2008.
